The Distillery Restaurants Corp., creators of Cluny Bistro, El Catrin, Pure Spirits Oyster House & Grill, Madrina Bar y Tapas, and Distillery Events are seeking warm and energetic people to serve up great food and a cup of good cheer during our busiest time of the year!  Our Hosts and Support Servers will ensure that every customer feels welcome and experiences a smooth service throughout their visit.

Vacancy Status: This position is for an existing, open vacancy.

Please note: You must already have legal permission to work in Canada to be considered for this role. 
These positions will end in January 2027.

What you will be doing as a Host:

• Manage the flow of guests to maximize seating capacity.
• Accurately take reservations and modify the status of guests in OpenTable.
• Escort guests to their table, engage them in conversation and seat them accordingly.
• Ensure that the front entrance, host stand and surrounding areas are fully stocked and free from clutter and debris.

What you will be doing as a Support:

• Assist with food running, ensure that plates arrive at the proper guest.
• Answer questions about food, beverages, wine and other restaurant functions and services when necessary.
• Inspect all tables for proper mise en place, cleanliness and completeness.
• Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required.

What we would like you to bring to the restaurant:

• EXPERIENCE. Minimum one (1) year experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required as training will be provided.
• POSITIVITY!  You're a bubbly person who enjoys connecting with others.
• TEAM SPIRIT.  You enjoy working with others toward a common goal, taking the lead or providing support for the good of the team.
